On October 9, Consulate General in Mumbai attended the SCO Symposium on " Financing Infrastructure Projects in Central Asia" and exchanged views with attending guests on leveraging platforms like the SCO and the Belt and Road Initiative to promote infrastructure construction in Central Asian countries. Industrial and Commercial Bank of India (ICBC) Mumbai Branch also attended the Symposium and shared relevant case study.

The Symposium was co-hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs of India, India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). Consul Generals of SCO member states in Mumbai and representatives from financial institutions were present at the event.
