On September 29, Consul General Qin Jie visited the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology in Bengaluru, met with Vice-Chancellor Mrs. Leena Chandran Wadia and other faculty.

Mr. Qin noted that the recent meeting between Chinese and Indian leaders during the BRICS Summit would guide the continuous advancement of bilateral relations. As ancient civilizations with long histories of traditional medicine, both countries could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in this field and deepen mutual learning between civilizations.

Mrs. Leena briefly introduced the university's history and signature majors, expressing a desire to enhance academic and youth exchanges with the Chinese side.
