On May 14, Consul General Qin Jie had a meeting with Director of Maharashtra State Council of Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI), Mr.Deepak Mukhi.

Mr.Mukhi provided an overview of the FICCI and expressed its ideas for promoting business cooperation between China and India. Mr. Qin noted that since the successful meeting between the leaders of the two countries in Tianjin, China–India relations have continued to improve, and both economies have maintained steady growth, creating more opportunities for bilateral cooperation. He expressed hope that the FICCI would play a bigger role in enhancing bilateral communications and cooperation between India and China.
