A landmark exhibition was held at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai on April 30, 2026. CG Mr. Qin Jie and Deputy CG Ms Wang Awei attended the event upon invitation. CG exchanged greetings with Maharashtra governor Mr. Jishnu Dev Varma. 

The showcase was held to commemorate and celebrate the history of India movie being over 100 years. The exhibition highlights iconic imagery from the Golden Era to modern times. Representatives from the Maharashtra government, the Consulates in Mumbai, and Bollywood attended.
