On April 8, Consul General Qin Jie met with Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General of Maharashtra Circle.

Qin Jie said that under the strategic guidance of Chinese and Indian leaders, exchanges between the two countries in various fields have increased. As India and China will chair BRICS in this and next year respectively, the postal sectors of the two countries could take this opportunity to strengthen communication and promote mutual development.

Mr. Singh expressed admiration for China’s economic and postal development achievements and expressed willingness to cooperate with the Chinese side through various forms.
