On December 10, Consul General Qin Jie met with Mr. Abhijin, State Protocol Officer of Karnataka.

Mr. Qin said the successful meeting between the leaders of China and India in Tianjin has provided a favorable atmosphere for strengthening local cooperation between the two countries. The "15th Five-Year Plan" has brought new opportunities for bilateral cooperation. As the technology hub of India, Karnataka can leverage its sister-province/state relations with China to deepen cooperation in areas such as culture, education, green development and city construction.
