On November 13, Consul General Qin Jie visited the Bombay Industries Association (BIA) and held talks with its President, Hitesh J. Shah.

Shah gave a brief introduction to the association and , expressing the hope of strengthening cooperation and exchanges with the Chinese side. 

Consul General Qin elaborated on the 15th Five-Year Plan,and noted that China’s continued economic development provides more opportunities for enterprises from various countries, including India. Against the backdrop of the successful meeting between the leaders of the two countries in Tianjin and increasingly warming China-India relations, the BIA can take full advantage of platforms such as the Canton Fair and the CIIE to grow stronger and play a more active role in promoting cooperation between enterprises of both sides.
