On March 25th, Consul General Kong Xianhua paid a farewell call on Ms. Kranti Prabhu, President of the India-China Friendship Association, Maharashtra Branch. He also visited the resting place of the late former President of the ICFA Maharashtra, Mr. G. Fernandes, and laid flowers there.

Consul General Kong Xianhua expressed gratitude to Ms. Prabhu and the ICFA Maharashtra for their support during his tenure. He  noted that this year marks  the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the relations between China and India have been developing steadily and positively. He hoped that the ICFA Maharashtra would continue to promote friendship between the people of the two nations and contribute to strengthening cooperation and shared development..

Ms. Prabhu highly commended Consul General Kong’s significant efforts  in promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries during his tenure. She pledged to remain rooted in local society and further enhance people-to-people connectivity between China and India.
