On August 10, 2024, Consul General Kong Xianhua was invited to award degree certificates and address the graduates in Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Universuty of Mumbai. Mr. N. Srinivasan, Vice Presiendt of HDFC, Mrs Chhaya Sehgal，CEO of Winning Edge，Dr. R. Iyengar, Director, Dr. Anil Pande, Professor and over 500 students and faculty attended the meeting.

Consul General Kong extended warmest congratulations to all the graduates, saying that both China and India have attached great importance to education and talents since ancient times, and both countries havesucceeded to realize the transformation from a country of illiteracy to a country of education and from a country of population to a country of human resources. Both countries share the dream of modernization. China recently held the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. It will continue to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in an all-round way with Chinese path to modernization and bring new opportunities to the world, especially its neighboring countries.
