On 17th April, Consul General Kong Xianhua met the chief editor of Education World Dilip Thakore.

Thakore said that Education World is the most preferred education newsmagazine with long commitment to promoting edcuation in India and educational cooperation between India and other countries. China highly emphasizes education and has established many high-quality educational institutions which cultivated a large number of talents that sustain the rapid economic and social development in China. Chinese higher eduction is also in a leading position. China and India educational cooperation has great potential. 

Kong said that it is an important part of Chinese culture to value education. Chinese higher and vocational education is getting more competitive with rising level of internationalization. We welcome Indian students to study in China and are ready to work together with Indian educators to promote China-India educational cooperation.
