On 16th April, Consul General Kong Xianhua visited the Deccan Herald in Bengaluru and had a discussion with  Mr.S.Sinkar, CEO of Deccan Herald and editors of the political, economic and international news sections.

Consul General Kong introduced the economic cooperation  and people to people exchanges between China and India, as well as recent activities of the Consulate General. He hoped to strengthen dialogue with the Deccan Herald, share China's experience in science and technology innovation, and people's livelihood development, and actively promote exchanges and cooperation between Karnataka and China in various fields.

Both sides exchanged their views on issues of concerns. The editors extended their appreciation for China's achievements in economic and social development, and expressed their willingness to continue to follow China's development and China-India cooperation, deepen mutual understanding and strengthen mutual trust through dialogue and exchanges.
