On 15th April, Consul General Kong Xianhua met with Pro. Hemantha Kumar, former Vice-Chancellor of Mysore University .

Pro. Hemantha said that Mysore University has carried out programs such as joint education, student exchange and teacher exchange with Chinese universities. The Chinese students are very competent in all aspects and adapt to the local life, and highly admired by their professors. Mysore University will continue to support educational cooperation and promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between our two countries.

Consul General Kong extended his thanks to Mr. Hemantha  for his contribution to educational cooperation between the two countries during his term of office. He said that educational cooperation is of great significance. He hoped that the Mysore University could effectively protect the rights and interests of Chinese students on campus, continue to cultivate more talents for economic development and friendship between China and India.
